Ryan Dicharry’s journey into homebuilding began as a teenager working for his stepfather, where he gained hands-on experience in every phase of the construction process. A Baton Rouge native, Ryan went on to earn a degree in Construction Management from LSU’s College of Engineering in 2001, laying the foundation for what would become a lifelong passion for building.
After graduation, Ryan joined a large industrial construction firm, quickly rising to project manager. He held licensing qualifications for insulation and asbestos abatement across Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, and St. Croix. But it wasn’t long before he felt called to chart his own path. In 2003, he partnered with a close friend to launch a residential construction and development company that built over 200 homes and played a key role in developing the Abby Lakes community in Thibodaux, LA.
By 2009, Ryan established Ryan Dicharry Construction (RDC)—a company that would go on to build over 300 homes and develop multiple communities throughout South Louisiana. Through years of experience and hundreds of client relationships, Ryan saw an opportunity to create something even more focused on the customer experience. That vision became Dicharry Homes.

We also make custom homebuilding more accessible through our in-house construction financing. Unlike traditional banks that typically require 20% down, we offer financing with only 5% down, removing barriers and making the process simpler and more affordable for our clients.
