Ryan Dicharry began his construction journey working for his stepdad as a teenager and quickly learned all aspects of the construction business through hands-on training. A Baton Rouge native, Ryan graduated from Louisiana State University College of Engineering with a degree in Construction Management in 2001.

After graduation Ryan worked for a large industrial construction company where he quickly moved up to project manager. Before leaving to start his own business, he was the qualified party for all of the company’s contractor’s license for insulation and asbestos abatement in Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, and St. Croix.

In 2003, Ryan Dicharry partnered with a good friend and opened a residential construction/development company based out of Baton Rouge, LA. This company built over 200 homes between Baton Rouge and Thibodaux and was one of the principal developers in the Abby Lakes community in Thibodaux, LA.

In 2009 Ryan decided to go on his own and started Ryan Dicharry Construction (RDC). Over our first decade, RDC built over 300 homes and developed multiple communities in south Louisiana. After working with hundreds of customers Ryan was inspired to create a new brand that focused on our homeowners’ needs while providing a more personal home buying experience. This led to the creation of Dicharry Homes.
